About El Amigo
El Amigo started with a simple idea: many people who need a ride would rather send a text than install an app. Local taxi and car companies already know those riders; they needed software that could take a booking from an ordinary text message, find the right driver and keep the money straight.
El Amigo is software, not a transportation company. Each company on El Amigo is independent, holds its own permits and insurance, employs or contracts its own drivers and sets its own prices.
