The dispatch board
Built for a dispatcher with a phone ringing and three rides waiting.

- Queue
- Rides searching for a driver, offers counting down, assigned and in progress, and scheduled rides due in the next two days.
- Live fleet
- Drivers by state, with stale locations drawn differently from fresh ones.
- Book by phone
- Same quote and booking path as text and app bookings, so prices and rules match.
- Assign and reassign
- Manual assignment uses the same checks as automatic dispatch and needs a reason. A previous driver loses access to the trip immediately.
- Text inbox
- Every SMS conversation, with takeover and an explicit hand-back to the assistant.
- Alerts
- No driver found, driver offline before a scheduled pickup, failed texts, unverified Zelle, arrival far from the pickup, safety reports.
- Riders
- Each rider's trips taken, completed and canceled, total spent, average fare, unpaid balance and recent trips.
- Timing on shared hosting
- On basic shared hosting, offer timeouts and scheduled dispatch advance with web traffic and a 5-minute cron, so a dispatcher should stay on duty. A small always-on worker (VPS) gives second-level timing; the board shows which mode you are in.
